When we first created this product, it had a different name.
CankerCare Patch was clear and descriptive. It said exactly what it was for. And early on, that mattered.
But as we continued building, something became obvious.
The product was doing more than the name allowed.
At its core, this was not just a canker sore solution. It was a new format. A dissolvable patch designed to protect irritated areas and stay in place in a way traditional options do not.
That idea is bigger than one use case.
Mouth irritation shows up in a lot of ways. Canker sores are just one of them. Cheek bites, braces, aligners, and general sensitivity all share the same problem. Friction, exposure, and constant irritation.
The solution is not always another gel or rinse.
Sometimes it is simply protection.
That is what led to the shift.
We rebranded to Soluvia Shield to better reflect what the product actually does.
It protects.
It stays in place.
It creates a barrier where you need it.
“Shield” captures that function in a way that is simple, intuitive, and expandable.
It also gives us room to grow.
Soluvia is not just one product. It is a platform for dissolvable patch technology designed to fit into real life. Starting with oral care, and expanding into other everyday needs.
The name needed to reflect that future.
Soluvia Shield is the same product at its core.
Just with a name that better matches what it is built to do.
